Ameer Munir Robertson is the founder of 4xflex Consulting and the creator of is proprietary business management method. Ameer has over 20 years of experience restructuring financial institutions, large hospital systems and law firms specializing in complex litigation. He is an author, international lecturer, corporate attorney and global though leader in the field of systems business process management. Over the years, he has advised, coached and trained scores of executive level managers and their line staff on systems thinking management methods.
Ameer started his career as a managing principal of a venture capital firm specializing in funding sustainable business enterprises. He later moved on as a corporate attorney, specializing in complex litigation, where he assisted a number of fortune 500 corporations undergoing United States Department of Justice (DOJ) investigation. He later transitioned to the healthcare sector where he was recruited to restructure a division of New York City Health and Hospitals, the largest healthcare system in the United States using Kaizen (Lean) Performance Improvement Methods. He is best known for his process restructuring work at Kings County Hospital, following a DOJ mandate and his efforts have been memorialized in an Oxford University press book titled, “Lean Behavioral Health: The Kings County Story.”
In addition to his Lean expertise, Ameer has become a leading innovator in redesigning the application of Cybernetics Business Management and Complexity Management methods. His work has culminated in the creation of the 4xFlex Business Improvement Method TM. Ameer is a regular lecturer domestically and has been invited by academic institutions overseas, among them, Buckingham University in the United Kingdom and Moscow Higher School of Economics in Russia. He manages the daily operations of the consulting firm and continues to provide one-on-one coaching sessions to a select group of high-performance executive business leaders.
